As the founder of Santa Bill's Hospital Helpers, I am reaching out to express our heartfelt gratitude for your continued support and to share the impact your generosity has had on the lives of countless children at the Children's Hospital of Illinois.
No one likes to spend the holiday season in the hospital, and our mission at Santa Bill's Hospital Helpers is to bring joy and comfort to those families who find themselves facing such challenging circumstances. The Children's Hospital of Illinois, with its capacity to support up to 200 children, holds a special place in our hearts, and we are dedicated to making the holidays a little brighter for the parents and children enduring their time there.
At Santa Bill's, we understand the varied challenges that children in the hospital face, from preemies in the NICU to those battling respiratory diseases, undergoing surgeries, or managing chronic conditions like sickle cell crisis, cystic fibrosis, asthma, and diabetes. We are there for the children with broken bones, recovering from car accidents, and those bravely fighting congenital heart diseases, seizures, and more, including our brave friends at St. Jude's battling cancer.
Thanks to the unwavering support of our community, Santa Bill's Hospital Helpers has been blessed with the ability to extend the holiday season beyond the traditional calendar. We strive to provide gifts and moments of joy not only on Christmas Day but throughout the year. Whether it's a child celebrating a birthday in the hospital, overcoming a difficult medical procedure, or simply having a tough day, we have a stockpile of presents ready to bring smiles and warmth.
In the past year, Santa Bill's has touched the lives of approximately 5,000 children.  This incredible impact wouldn't be possible without the support and contributions from individuals and businesses like yours. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of these children and their families, allowing parents to focus on their child's recovery while we bring the magic of Christmas to the hospital rooms.
