About Us

Santa Bill’s Hospital Helpers is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) whose passion is to bring Santa Claus and Christmas joy to all of the children staying at OSF Children’s Hospital of Illinois in Peoria, IL.  Our organization is staffed 100% by volunteers with minimal operational cost.  This allows us to ensure that the maximum amount of the funds raised are allocated directly towards our mission.  For over 25 years, our generous community members have allowed us to make this possible by donating new and unwrapped toys along with monetary donations for our organization to purchase thousands more.  Children of all ages are able to experience the excitement of Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, and their elves personally delivering them toys.  Thanks to the unwavering support of our community, Santa Bill's Hospital Helpers has been blessed with the ability to provide gifts and moments of joy not only on Christmas Day but throughout the year.  Over the years, Santa Bill has been blessed with the opportunity to brighten the days of thousands of children and their families.  With every visit to the hospital, we gain a deeper understanding of the challenges that these children face.  From teens to the NICU, our organization's presence is felt.  Whether a child is battling chronic conditions such as sickle cell crisis, cystic fibrosis, asthma, diabetes, seizures, congenital heart disease or those undergoing surgeries, experiencing trauma, accident recovery, or one of our brave friends at St. Jude, Santa Bill is here for them. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of these children, allowing parents and families to focus on recovery while we bring the magic of Christmas to them not only on Christmas Day, but every day of the year.  Thank you for being a crucial part of Santa Bill's family and for helping us make a positive impact on the lives of those who need it most.
